This rod took Best of Show Saltwater Rod at iCast 2016. The one-piece rod starts with a lightweight, sensitive IM6 graphite blank then adds American Tackle’s new AirWave slim ring line guides. It has a skeletal, graphite reel seat and a split grip handle in what looks like a Kawasaki bright green colour scheme. Nine models allow you to find your perfect style from 6’8” to 7’6” in length, medium to medium-heavy power, line weights of 4-14 lbs, and medium-fast to fast action. MSRP: $80 USD

After getting input from top national and regional walleye anglers, their engineers went to work designing and building ten different walleye rods, including one traditional casting rod, two dedicated trolling cast. The rods are built from a sensitive high modulus graphite blank with the casting rod in a split grip and the trolling rods in a solid grip. The 7’ casting rod is medium power holding line weights of 10-17 lbs, while the telescoping medium power trolling rods come in either 8’ or 8’6” holding line weights ranging from 6-12 lbs.
