Go Fish BC photo contest – 2016 winners
Category 1 'People Freshwater Fishing in BC' winning picture by Evan Dux, “A beautiful day for fishing with some friends on the Columbia River in Castlegar”
Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC
With almost 400 entries from some very talented photographers, response to the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC’s third annual photo contest was fantastic. So many awesome photos made it very challenging for our panel of judges to choose the winners. We truly enjoyed the stories that accompanied your photos – some about huge fish, others about fishing buddies (i.e. your dogs), and many about first fish. Be sure to follow our Instagram page; we’ll be featuring the shortlisted photos throughout the year.
Congratulations to the finalists, who each receive a share of the $1,500 in cash prizes.
