Pacific Salmon Foundation
This year Rudy North issued a challenge to Pacific Salmon Foundation donors by offering to match every tax-receiptable donation up to $50,000 made by December 31st midnight. Just a few weeks into the campaign and we have raised $34,300 leaving $15,700 that can be matched dollar for dollar if you donate.
Special thanks to the Gudewill family for their recent $10,000 donation. Family member Peter Gudewill has offered these words of encouragement to our donors: "For 50 years our family has enjoyed Pacific salmon on the B.C. coast and watched this beloved resource decline. We are honoured to join Rudy North and his generous matching commitment to the Salish Sea Marine Survival Project - and we hope others will join us in supporting this landmark initiative that is already shining a light on what is limiting our salmon. "
Donors like you are supporting vital habitat restoration and research into salmon farms, seal predation, harmful algae blooms and more, that are affecting salmon in the Strait of Georgia. If you haven't already, please consider making a donation today to help us raise $100,000 for salmon this year-end.
