Fishing Derbies are a lot of fun, whether you're going for the prizes or just to get out on the water with your rod. We started something new last year by adding BC Fishing Derbies to our Events Column, and we're doing it again this year.
- Kicking off the season early is the Saanich Inlet Salmon Challenge, hosted by Mill Bay Marina, taking place Saturday, March 18 with a shotgun start of 7 am and final weigh-in at 4 pm.
