Carpenter Lake
Carpenter Lake is the largest lake in the Gold Bridge area

Carpenter Lake is the largest lake in the Gold Bridge area. This man-made lake is roughly 50 km long and is very narrow. The lake has great campsites, two of which have dirt boat launches that are suitable for small boats. Trolling this lake is the best method of fishing, but there is some fantastic creek mouth fishing to be done. While trolling try small Coyote spoons, frog-pattern Flatfish, Spinnex spoons and Berkley Frenzy. For creek mouth fishing, try Koho spoons and Crocodile spoons. My favourite is the Silver Prism Croc. Good luck.
