If you want to personalize your vehicle, why not choose some fun, playful ways to accomplish it! Everyone knows you can add a new radio, huge trunk speakers, and sonic tailpipe to your car. Still others have lowriders with hydraulic systems that make the car ‘bounce’ on demand, or custom paint designs that take art to another level on the side of their automobile. Instead of spending thousands of dollars to make your car a one-of-a-kind treasure, why not try these ideas for a different type of customization.
1. License Plates
The simplest way to customize our license plate is with a frame. You can find the decorative and themed borders everywhere on the internet and at your nearby auto shop. Choose from holiday themes to pet decorations to colorful artworks. If you want to make your auto even more personal, order a personalized plate from your state’s registration center. If the plate hasn’t been taken or isn’t offensive, you have a good chance of getting it. You may even try adding a much loved emoji to your license plate if you live in Queensland, Australia. With five different types of emojis to choose from, the authorities are expecting to see quite a few of the personalized plates on vehicles in the coming years.
2. Bumper Stickers
Nothing speaks to the personalization of an automobile more than the bumper stickers that some people have plastered all over the back of their vehicle, and if you are honest with yourself, you would have to admit some of those bumper stickers have made you laugh. Whether you choose stickers with a funny saying, a political slogan, or support for a cause, your bumper sticker helps you make a statement and lets your automobile wear a little bit of your personality around town.
3. Holiday Accents
Nearly every month there is a celebration of some type that you and your car can represent. From Valentine’s Day all the way through Christmas, why not let your car demonstrate a salute to the joy that comes with each month. To name a few, there are hearts for February, flowers for April, tails and spooky eyes for October, and antlers for December. There are holiday accents for the front, inside, or rear of your car, and you can choose to use more than one if you really want to celebrate the month!
4. Seat Covers
You may spend hours inside your car without really thinking about what you are sitting on, but if you want to be different, why not sit on something more personalized than the standard seat covers that come with your car? If you want to sit on comfort, you can choose heated seat covers that will warm your bottom on a cold morning drive to work. You can also choose to be bold and daring and choose artwork seats that make a statement. If you feel playful, why not select a leopard print, bright color, or camouflage cover and matching floor mats.
5. Car Graphics
If you want a truly unique looking vehicle at a very low cost, choose car graphics. Although you may need help applying the giant stickers to your car and making sure they are bubble-free, once the graphic is on your car, it will become your own unique work of art. Choose from peeping giant frogs for windows to flames and stickers for bodywork; there are hundreds to choose from in dozens of colors and styles. Why not choose some custom text for your front window, a full hood-covering dragon, or a bloody skull with dripping blood? Giant spiders, whimsical fairies, mud spatters, and patriotic designs are all available at a very low cost.
6. Steering Covers
Whether you love fluffy pink bunny steering wheel covers or the military leather look, you can find it all when you are choosing to make a statement inside your car. Select from speed grip covers, wood grain imitation looks or covers with eyes and ears. Let your personality shine through with a cover that will make you proud every time you take it in your hands to steer your automobile.
Using these fun and simple tips to individualize your vehicle can help you use your car to make a statement or let everyone know what is on your mind. Your car can become a whimsical fun piece of art or a holiday celebration – the choice is yours.
