We're only a month away from the seventh annual Vancouver Festival of Ocean Films - and the line up has just been released! Don't miss these incredible screenings!
Join us on June 5th, 2016 at the Vancity Theatre from 4-11pm for another great day of ocean films!
You're in for some serious treats this year on June 5th at the Vancouver Festival of Ocean Films! A combination of short and feature-length films brilliantly, and beautifully, capture:
- Treequestration
- An underwater cameraman's tale
- Dolphins, sharks, plankton
- The Salish Sea
- Big wave surfing
- The hidden worlds of global illegal wildlife trade, and acidified oceans that are speeding up species extinction
In its 7th consecutive year, the Vancouver Festival of Ocean Films (VFOF) inspires audiences to consider their relationship with the ocean through regional and international documentaries that focus on adventure, sport and the global issues that our waters currently face. Find out what’s in store and what’s new this year by following updates on Facebook and Twitter or search using the hashtag #VFOF.
This year’s festival is presented by MEC, with support from Vancity (Pender Ave Branch), Shelter Island Marina and the Georgia Straight.
