Organizers of the Seattle Boat Show, Indoors + Afloat, said the 2017 show will offer more than 200 free seminars. The show will be held Jan. 27-Feb. 4 indoors at CenturyLink Field and on the water on South Lake Union.
The seminars will cover topics ranging from cruising to Alaska to diesel engine maintenance. There also will be advanced seminars for a fee through Boat Show University.
On the fishing stage there will be nearly 60 free fishing and crabbing seminars by the Pacific Northwest’s premier fishing experts, organizers said.
“One of the best values at the Seattle Boat Show are the free fishing seminars, featuring fishing gurus from the Pacific Northwest sharing their knowledge on tuna and salmon fishing, along with crabbing and shrimping in Puget Sound waters,” Northwest Marine Trade Association director of fishing affairs Tony Floor said in a statement.
“I can’t think of a better opportunity to improve anglers’ skills anywhere for saltwater fishing, crabbing and shrimping than attending these outstanding seminars.”
