Shuswap Hot Spots to Discover
Not to be overshadowed by the communities on Shuswap Lake, the village of Chase is a rustic gem where you can discover unique shopping, art and cultural centres, and an eclectic mix of dining options. Boating and watersports are enjoyed here all summer, and if you’ve come here to fish, you’ve come to the right place. The lake is known for its rainbow trout, lake trout, kokanee and burbot. On shore, some seasonal events include Music in July and August, and the popular Chase CornStock featuring live music, fresh local produce, and artisanal products. You can also explore the many additional attractions such as Memorial Park Beach, the 300 m (984 ft) Red Wharf, numerous hiking trails, and Chase Creek Falls.
