Imagine living and working in a location that many people just dream about for vacation visits. Situated on eleven kilometres of Okanagan lakefront, Peachland is in the very heart of the recreation paradise that is the Okanagan Valley, positioned midway between Kelowna and Penticton. Located in the hub of Peachland is the Peachland Yacht Club (PYC).
The Peachland Yacht Club was established in 1958 and has grown into a busy marina with 62 member moorage slips and two visitor slips that can be reserved by members from other yacht clubs, with advanced booking. The club also provides a permanent moorage slip for the fire and rescue boat. Located next to the swim bay area, the marina has a card-lock entry and exit system. The PYC is currently in the process of a multi-year rebuild of the breakwater and berths.
PYC is a volunteer run club and although it does not have a clubhouse, regular events such as barbecues and dock parties are held on the large deck. The Commodore's Dinner to honour and thank the sitting Commodore is held annually.
Anyone interested in becoming a member is encouraged to contact the club for more information or to be placed on the wait list. We welcome new members, both sail and power, to share this 'jewel on the lake' with us.
Peachland boasts many restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, boat gas, shopping and other amenities, hiking trails, wineries, etc.
From the PYC the lake takes a jog to the west before heading down further south, giving sailors a bit of kick as warm wind coming up from the south rounds the aptly named Squally Point, a part of Okanagan Mountain Provincial Park. Along this park and shoreline one can find many sheltered bays and public moorage buoys.

Safe and happy boating, everyone!
