SunCruiser Media
Welcome to Canada’s biggest (and funnest) standup paddleboard festival, now heading into its 7th year. Widely recognized as the largest festival of it’s kind in Canada, the Kalamalka Classic Paddleboard Festival will be held Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 3 & 4, 2016, on the colourful waters of Kalamalka Lake and is expected to draw over 250 paddlers from across North America.
The ‘Kal Classic’ features events for all ages, both recreational and competitive. It’s the kind of event that combines competitive spirit with the laid-back vibe of the Okanagan. Some events are just for beginners and intermediate paddlers, while others will challenge even the fittest of athletes. Bring the kids – there’s plenty of fun for them too!
Events start on Thursday, Sept. 1 (Pre-race clinic) and Friday. The festival itself is on Saturday & Sunday. Click here for complete schedule. Click here for the event website.
