As there are many areas to explore and enjoy on the water in the Okanagan, additional excitement (and entertainment) can be found at the series of resorts, hotels and restaurants. To narrow your search, here are 10 waterside haunts you should check out this season whether you’re looking for a quick bite, a cold beverage, or multi-day destination.

1. Rose’s Waterfront Pub - 1352 Water St., Kelowna

A ten-minute walk from Downtown Marina Kelowna, Rose’s Pub is ideal for lunch, dinner or even a night on the town. Hotel Eldorado’s popular lakeside restaurant and marina make this is an ideal spot for local and transient boaters. Temporary moorage is available for restaurant patrons (as the restaurant and lounge are open to the general public) while the full-service marina has a fuel dock, plus daily and weekly slips for hotel guests. Open seasonally from early March, The Outboard Waterfront Pub is a great place to enjoy lunch, dinner or a relaxing beverage anytime in between. Located at the north end of Okanagan Lake in Vernon, The Outboard is boating-friendly and provides a relaxing atmosphere that serves up a series of menu items to include classic, traditional pub fare and range of local wines and craft beer.
