Robalo Boats to Unveil Centre Console Package on Social Media on June 16
Robalo Boats will unveil its newest center console offering via a worldwide online social media event on June 16.
The company has decided to forego a traditional product launch at a boat show or its annual dealer meeting in favour of the widespread reach of social media.
“Our newest Robalo center console will sell for under US $20,000 including the boat, motor and trailer,” says Robalo President, Jim Lane. “The push to attract both first-time and experienced fishermen alike is perfectly suited for a social media roll-out. We anticipate a reach of more than 100,000 people in the rollout.”
On June 16, Robalo will stream five segments on the Internet, including a product overview, a detailed walkaround, customer testimonials, a head-to-head comparison and an under-the-cowl look of the boat’s Yamaha outboard technology. “This style of a new product roll-out is revolutionary in the marine industry,” claims Robalo Regional Sales Manager, Joe Pegg. “We're excited about letting our customers be the first to preview the newest, most affordable Robalo we've ever built.”
Prior to the June 16 roll-out date, Robalo will run an aggressive advertising campaign designed to tease the unveiling and attract interested boaters to its social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). The company will also broadcast all five of the product launch segments via a custom Internet micro-site.
