The Larson Boat Group has added to its LXH series of boats with the 230 IO for the 2018 model year.
The bowrider has a pickle-fork design to create a wider bow seating area. The forward seats have fold-down armrests, and Larson said there is space for a 6-foot person to stretch out in the bow. An optional filler cushion creates a sunpad.
“We’re pleased with the success of the LXH line and are thrilled to give boaters another fantastic option for family cruising and watersports,” Rob Parmentier, president of Larson Boats, said in a statement. “The 230 IO delivers just that, along with some great new features that bolster comfort and convenience.”
The boat measures 23 feet, 10 inches, and has an 8-foot, 6-inch beam. Fuel capacity is 37 gallons and the maximum horsepower is 300. A 2-foot-deep bolt-on swim platform and optional bow ladder provide access to the water. The full wraparound windshield should provide protection from the elements.
Standard power is a 200-hp MerCruiser 4.5L Alpha sterndrive, and options range up to the 300-hp 6.2L Bravo Three twin-prop sterndrive. Standard equipment includes a Rockford Fosgate stereo with USB charging and an audio control port; additional speakers are available. Watersports enthusiasts can add an optional Xtreme wake tower.
