It is time for the Canadian government and the U.S. to work together to come to a resolution for the retaliatory tariffs - that are taking a toll on Canada’s economy. In a report from the Canadian House of Commons International Trade Committee - “Section 232 of the United States Trade Expansion Act: Implications of Tariffs for Canada” - it mentions hardships for the recreational boating industry from aluminum and steel tariffs. The Canadian government was given 60 days to respond to the committee’s report.
The reports specific mentions of NMMA Canada’s submissions and 5 key recommendations can be found originally published here.
