The Steveston Dragon Boat Festival promises to be a great day of fun, entertainment and paddling. The event begins at 8am with dragon boat racing beginning and then food, activities and vendor booths open at 9am. By 11am great entertainment on the main stage begins to celebrate a sizzling summer.
Location: The event is located at Steveston Village, Richmond BC. Britannia Heritage Shipyard (at Westwater Drive and Railway Avenue) to Imperial Landing
Race Schedule:
- 7:30am – Race Registrar opens
- 8:00am – Dragon Boat Racing Begins
- 3:00pm onwards – Racers awards party begins
Parking: Is available at the T Homma School, which is located across the street from the Britannia Heritage Shipyard at 5180 Westwater Drive. Parking is available for a suggested donation of $5 (all proceeds to Richmond Food Bank). Parking is very limited so please plan to carpool. The parking lot will open at 7:00 am precisely.
