Shilshole Bay Marina celebrates National Marina Day! The Shilshole Bay Marina Group is banding together to present the annual Open Boat Showcase and Swap Meet on the same day to benefit the Leukemia Cup Regatta, "Sailing for a Cure."

Activities

Starting at 8:30am

• Boater's Swap Meet presented by the Shilshole Bay Marina Group* - view the swap meet flier for more information and to sign-up

10am-4pm

• Tours of the historic schooner Adventuress by Sound Experience
• Open Boat Showcase of new and brokerage sail and power boats, charter boats, and more hosted by Seattle Yachts, Sail Northwest, Windworks Sailing & Powerboating, and Seattle Sailing Club
• Liveaboard boat tours by the Shilshole Liveaboard Association
• Sail for a Cure sailboat rides courtesy of Windworks Sailing & Powerboating and Seattle Sailing Club
• Kids' activities, two bouncy houses (11am-3pm), and mini opti sailing lessons (ages 6-14)
• Food and beverages will be available for purchase*
• Festival of boating-related and Ballard community partner booths
• Maritime Pacific Brewing Company beer and Domanico Cellars wine garden (11am-5pm)*
• Open mic for musicians (10am-noon)
• New this year: live music from Zeptology (12:30pm-2pm)
• New this year: live music from Wet City Rockers (2:30pm-4pm)
