Island Cup started in 2006 with just a few competitors in the back woods of Vancouver Island. It has since evolved to include over 40 competitors from all over B.C, Alberta and Washington State. There are over 2000 spectators over 3 days and it is continuing to grow.

The event is held at a private facility in East Sooke. It is a timed event with the lowest overall time determining the winner. Seven sections, spread throughout the mountain, challenge the competitors with some of the roughest terrain imaginable.

• Friday night ‘under the lights’ starts the event on the evening of May 18th. It is a dash for cash on a surprise course, first place taking the prize. The times for Friday night determine running order for the next 2 days.
• Saturday the 19th boasts a full day with 4 sections of increasing difficulty.
• Sunday the 20th will see 3 sections (even harder than the last) finish it off, followed by trophies and prizes.

Specator & Camping Costs:

• Spectators $10 per day or $25 for a 3-day pass
• Camping on site will be $25 for the 3 nights - Spots are limited
• Children under 12 free when accompanied by an adult
• PLEASE LEAVE YOUR PETS AT HOME – YOU WILL BE DENIED ENTRY IF YOU HAVE THEM WITH YOU
