Comox Nautical Days
August 5, 6 & 7, 2017 at Comox Marina Park, Comox
Comox Nautical Days 2017 is going to be outstanding! All your perennial favourites are returning for the 59th annual Festival including; the Bullhead Derby, Build Bail and Sail along with the Comox Nautical Days Vintage Car Show. The Compass Adventure Gauntlet is also back guaranteeing lots of wet and wild action and you can try your luck at the Comox Valley Harbour Authority’s “Hole in One” competition. The redevelopment of Marina Park has given us a great opportunity to try some new things this year too.
See all the events happening at this year's festival.
While at the Festival, take time to shop at the many wonderful craft booths, and quench your appetite at any, or all, of the fabulous foodies. Those who are “of an age” can enjoy a frosty beverage at the VI Society for Adaptive Snow Sports Bistro Garden.
As always, Comox Nautical Days is proud to showcase the very best of Comox Valley's entertainers. The Young Performers Showcase returns on Saturday morning featuring Ryks Davies, Riel, and Aysha Larson. Dozens of musicians will perform over the three days of the Festival including; Ali Romanow Family Band, Brodie Dawson & Luc Blue Guthrie, Centrepiece Jazz, Larry Ayre, Ralph Barret 7, The Brass, Blues Report, Sue Medley and Friends, Time Well Wasted and the list goes on… and on.
Nautical Days would not be Nautical Days without the Quality Foods Festival of Lights Fireworks Extravaganza on Monday night. This year the QF fireworks show features the music of Canadian Juno Awards winners including Comox Valley’s own Sue Medley, Helen Austin, John “Johnny” Booth (Sweeney Todd) and Phil Camparelli (54-40).
There’s truly something for everyone at the 2017 Comox Nautical Days "Free Festival of Family Fun". Join the fun August 5, 6, & 7 at Comox Marina Park!
