Water pressure regulator
Stones RV
You have arrived at your campsite, perfectly parked and leveled your RV close to the facilities (electricity, sewer, water), and proceeded to hook everything up. Did you know there is a hidden danger in that city water connection?
The water pressure being served up by the campground city water connection may fluctuate, and in some cases exceed the recommended PSI for your RV plumbing. The pipes and faucets in your RV are designed to handle water pressure up to 45 psi, but any more than that and they could crack, rupture or burst. If that happens, you could be into some serious water damage. To make matters worse, your RV warranty may not cover those failures if you have not installed a water pressure regulator.
A water pressure regulator is installed on the city water end of your water connection. It will regulate the pressure coming our of the tap to 45 psi. So, if a water pressure surge happens in that city water connection, your RV will be protected.
