Rio de Cerveza Brew Fest flows at Desert Sun Stadium Nov. 19
Now in its fourth year, the Rio de Cerveza Brew Fest will take place on Saturday, Nov. 19, under the lights at Yuma's Desert Sun Stadium.
In 2015, the festival welcomed more than 1,000 attendees to enjoy samples of more than 60 different brews from national and regional brands, including Yuma's own Prison Hill Brewing Company.
"The Rio de Cerveza Brew Fest continues to grow, attracting locals and out-of-towners who appreciate delicious craft beer and Yuma's beautiful fall weather," said Linda Morgan, Executive Director of the Yuma Visitors Bureau. "We are prepared for a larger turnout and anticipate having up to 80 different beers on-site, poured straight from the tap and the bottle."
In addition to the brews, entertainment remains a big part of the event. Hometown band Checker'd Past will take to the stage to perform "the '80s the way you remember it!" Also, last year's popular lawn games make a return, including mega-sized beer pong, giant Jenga-like block towers, and cornhole.
