Whenever I’m planning a road trip through the Canadian Rockies, Golden, British Columbia is a mandatory stop on my itinerary. Nestled among towering peaks and wild rivers, it’s home to one of the most breathtaking stops in western Canada: Golden Skybridge by Pursuit.
On August 4, 2026, the attraction unveiled its newest experience—Eagle Net Park—giving travelers of all ages a totally fresh, active way to explore the mountain forest canopy together.

Stepping Into the Treetops: What Eagle Net Park is Really Like
Positioned right at the end of Golden Skybridge’s iconic first suspension bridge, Eagle Net Park immediately draws you into the forest. Suspended seven metres above the mountain floor and stretching across nearly 500 square metres, this elevated playground lets you step directly off the trail and into the trees.
As you wander through, you’ll find:
- Elevated Bouncing Nets: High-energy suspended netting where you can leap and climb safely.
- Climbing Tunnels: Woven mesh tunnels connecting different sections of the forest canopy.
- Lookout Platforms: Serene wooden perches nestled among the branches.
- Aerial Walkways: Suspended footpaths offering stunning, unobstructed views into the deep canyon below.
The entire experience was designed to mimic the soaring raptors that call these mountains home. As Jason Crawford, general manager at Golden Skybridge, explained:
"Inspired by the eagles that soar above the canyon, Eagle Net Park lets guests become part of the forest canopy itself. As they climb through the trees and pause at lookout points, they experience the canopy from a perspective unlike anything else at Golden Skybridge.”
