The desert country of western Arizona is very inviting this time of year. The parks along the Colorado River (Cattail Cove, Lake Havasu, River Island and Buckskin Mountain) have a ton to offer campers and lovers of the outdoors. Lake and river life doesn't have to be reserved for just the spring and summer. The rhythmic flow of waves subtly caressing the beach will remind you of a desert lullaby as they wash your stress downstream.
