The lighter weight is meant to ease the load on your truck and make driving feel smoother overall. To achieve the lighter weight, Alaskan builds the camper with 1.5‑inch composite insulated panels, a high‑density foam core, and a fiberglass exterior. It also uses a thermal‑break frame and insulated interior components. According to Alaskan, this combo keeps the weight down while still offering durability and true four‑season capability.
It’s made with 99% non‑organic materials — a nod to the company’s original design philosophy, updated with modern materials and efficiency in mind.
