This all-new 2018 Class A is one of the first gas coaches from Winnebago to be available at an entry-level price and has been designed around user experiences – whether you travel with family or you're a seasoned full-timer.
Contemporary and sleek, the Intent is offered in four different floor plans – the 26M, 29L, 30R, and 31 P – ranging in length from a little more than 26 feet to just over 31 feet. Depending on your lifestyle, the four plans are diverse as the standards found in them. For instance, the 26M and 30R each feature separate dual slides, while the 29L and 31 P offer full wall slides.
Regardless of which you choose, all floorplans share many highlights including exterior entertainment centres under the awning, residential refrigerators, Powerline Energy Management Systems, Smart Storage pass-through storage areas, and Versa Cab seating for extra comfort while you're on the road or at rest.
When it comes to driving comfort, the Intent has a newly designed cab offering optimum visibility and sightlines thanks to the narrow corner pillars and large windshield. You'll appreciate the pivoting command center with the LCD colour touchscreen, plus the rear view monitor system, iPod/MP3 inputs, and Bluetooth. The cab seats are large and adjustable, with easy access for passengers to the dash workstation.
The galley is the heart of the Intent. It has a standard three-burner range with oven, touch-controlled microwave, laminate countertops with a backsplash, and a road-worthy stainless-steel double sink. Added benefits include the pantry and powered roof ventilator fan.
Between the cab and the fully appointed rear master bedroom is a plethora of comfort and features. The full-wall or dual slide-out designs on the Intent provide ideal living space. They pull out to offer a dinette (on the 26M) or a dinette and sofa bed, while the dual swivel cab seats and a multi-position table come into play to expand the seating or entertaining options.
Rounding out the Intent is the LP tank system. Rather than having the fixed, industry-standard 60-pound LP tank, the Intent can house two 20 pound LP tanks, with the capability – and space – of adding two more. Extra tanks offer added convenience at a campground, and also means fewer fill-ups during your travels. Other new models from Winnebago for 2018 include the Horizon Class A diesel motorhome, Revel 4x4 Class B and a new Series of Minnie Plus Fifth-Wheels in the company’s towable division.
