Over the next three years, Roberts Resorts plans to invest more than $43 million to improve and expand three RV resorts and one tiny home community northwest of Houston - providing affordable and high-quality RV resorts for families in the area while offering more tiny homes for seniors hoping to downsize.
Roberts Resorts’ Woodlands and Lake Conroe-area RV resorts undergoing expansion include the following parks:
— Majestic Pines RV Resort (https://majesticpinesrv.com/) in Willis: Roberts Resorts plans to increase the size of this 233-site park by nearly 70 percent to 393 sites over the next 24 months. The company has budgeted $800,000 to acquire additional land for expansion; $1.2 million for improvements to the existing RV resort, including its clubhouse, swimming pool and road repairs; and $12 million in new amenities, including a new registration building, a new pavilion, a new swimming pool and bathhouse, and new RV sites.
— Water’s Edge RV Resort (https://www.robertsresorts.com/resorts/waters-edge-rv/) in Willis: Roberts Resorts is planning in invest $17.5 million to improve and expand this 200 park to 300 sites over the next three years. Improvements will include construction of a second swimming pool and waterpark with slides, a splash pad, and lazy river, the size of which has yet to be determined, as well as a new registration building, general store, roadway improvements and new landscaping.
— Rayford Crossing RV Resort in Spring: Roberts Resorts is expanding this RV resort from 115 sites to 290 sites, with the new sites expected to be available later this summer. The company has spent $1.2 million to acquire additional land needed for the expansion, plus another $7 million for new amenities and improvements, which will be dictated by market demand.
Meanwhile, Roberts said he plans to nearly double the size of the 83-site Majestic Hills Tiny Home Community (https://majestichillstinyhomes.com/) in Willis, adding 62 to 70 additional tiny home sites over the next two years. The company has budgeted $955,000 to acquire additional land for expansion and $3.2 million for improvements, including building new lots for tiny homes, new landscaping and completing a theater room and other amenities.
