Halifax RV Show & Sale
Halifax RV Show & Sale
Atlantic Canadians can look forward to the 2021 Halifax RV Show & Sale - returning January 21-24, 2021 at the Halifax Exhibition Centre. Show organizers worked with the Province of Nova Scotia, the Chief Medical Officer, the Atlantic Recreation Vehicle Dealer Association (ARVDA), and the facility, to bring new safety measures to the event.
“We are grateful to our fellow Atlantic Canadians for abiding by the guidelines that the government and health officials set out for us,” said Show Manager Scott Sprague. “The Atlantic Bubble has been a huge success and we couldn’t be more excited that we’ll be able to once again hold localized events – even if they look a bit different than what we’re used to.”
The 2021 edition of the show will still welcome many of the same dealers that visitors have come to expect, and will showcase hundreds of units on site, plus RV lifestyle products and services, and information on the region’s top vacation destinations. Our event partners at the Atlantic RV Dealers Association (ARVDA) and their dealers are excited to showcase their 2021 line-up in January as they anticipate big demand once again this spring.
All exhibitors and show visitors will be from the Atlantic Provinces only; anyone who has travelled outside the Atlantic Bubble within 14 days of the show will not be permitted to attend. During the event, one “bubbled group” at a time will be allowed in each unit to view, with frequent sanitization of high- touch surfaces such as hand-rails, counter-tops, tables, etc.
Additional safety measures will include:
- Mandatory masks in all locations inside the building, except while eating or drinking in the seated restaurant area.
- Directional aisles and social distancing measures, as well as lots of signage to help attendees navigate.
- Additional staff onsite to help with traffic flow, monitor social distancing, and answer questions.
- Online ticketing to facilitate contact tracing and minimize congestion at the entrance.
- Enhanced cleaning protocols and easy-to-access sanitization stations located throughout the building.
“From a safety perspective, coming to the RV Show is not much different than visiting a large retail store,” added Sprague. “People are used to wearing masks and following safety protocols.”
Show organizers are confident that people are ready to return to face-to-face events – especially for sports and leisure equipment like RVs and boats, which saw skyrocketing sales last summer. This trend is expected to continue into the summer of 2021, with RVing being a safe and easy vacation option for families.
