Picture this: one evening every year, people all across Canada step outside at the same time to share a sunset — or, in the North, a midnight sun moment.
Families, friends, neighbours, whole communities all hitting pause together. Reconnecting with each other, with nature, and with the land we share. Not something to watch from the sidelines — something to join. Simple. Joyful. Powerful enough to grow into a national tradition.
That’s Everyone Outdoors Together.
On Parks Day, July 18, 2026, CPRA is launching this new movement, and we’re inviting everyone from coast to coast to coast to step outside and feel what it’s like to pause together. It’s free. It’s easy. All it asks is that we all go outdoors on the same day, at the same time.
And we’re looking for people and organizations who want to help spark this moment where they live. As an Activator, you can bring Everyone Outdoors Together to life in your own way — host a gathering, spread the word, or simply encourage folks around you to step outside on July 18.
Participation is free, inclusive, and designed to fit your life. If you’re already planning something outdoors that day, we’d love to hear about it. Just fill out the form below to register your activation and be part of this national moment.
