The BC Interior RV Show, April 3 – 5, has been cancelled following the Province of British Columbia’s directive to avoid mass gatherings (250 people or more) during the COVID-19 outbreak.
BCIRVSociety also received official written notice on March 16, 2020, from the SOEC/PTCC contractor that they can no longer host the event at their venue.
The society's relationship with our vendors/exhibitors is paramount and it was decided at the March 16th emergency meeting that all registration fees will be refunded 100%. It should be noted that all costs that have been paid to-date will become the responsibility of the society directors. This will be difficult, but the society is hopeful that the partnering suppliers will follow suit and will refund the society the deposits that we have paid to secure their services.
Our main concern is the safety and well-being of the entire community. As a result, we are having to make difficult decisions. We all share a responsibility to minimize risks related to COVID-19. One of the most important measures we can take is to limit public gatherings and therefore we urge all of you to educate yourselves on this topic and listen to what the subject-matter experts are saying.
Your registration refunds will be processed and mailed to the address on your registration form within the next 14 business days.
