Mickey Thompson has expanded the popular Deegan 38 tire line with the addition of four new sizes – LT265/75R16, LT285/75R16, LT265/70R17 and LT285/70R17. Developed with racing icon Brian Deegan, the Deegan 38 is the ultimate mud-terrain tire delivering aggressive performance, respectable street manners and impressive style.
“We’ve expanded this exceptional tire line to include the most popular 16- and 17-inch fitments for today’s light truck, Jeep and SUV enthusiasts,” said Ken Warner, Vice President of Marketing for Mickey Thompson. “This tire delivers a great combination of aggressive style and performance with long tread life and responsive handling on uneven terrain.”
The tread consists of Mickey Thompson’s proven compound and a number of unique design elements to handle water, mud and rocky terrains. The center tread elements deliver better grip, even wear and a quieter ride, and stone ejector ribs resist dirt and mud.
Along the shoulder, Mickey Thompson’s SideBiters® and unique shoulder scallops guide mud and loose soil away from the tread. The enhanced sidewall features high tensile body ply cord for increased sidewall integrity and reduced rolling resistance.
