Lund Boats has added to its Impact line of multispecies fishing boats for 2018.
The Impact models include a redesign of the fishing-focused 1675, 1775 and 1875; the XS lineup, which is more family-focused, has new 1675 and 1775 and redesigned 1875 and 2025 models.
All of the Impact and XS models are built with Lund’s iPS hull, which has a pronounced center keel, reverse chines and a flat aft pad. The boats are built with double-riveted seams and come with Lund’s lifetime warranty.
The new boats are outboard-powered and have full-height walk-through windshields. The new Impacts are updated with a wider and more robust gunwale that includes an external rubrail. A lighting track is integrated into the gunwales for added light when the sun goes down.
At the helm, the boats have black consoles that should reduce glare on the gauges. Owners can opt for the Mercury VesselView multifunction screen, which also acts as a GPS fish locator or second unit. For storage, there are under-console drawers, plus dedicated port and starboard rod racks and an extra-long center rod locker.
The differences between the two boat series are seen in the XS’s family-oriented focus. This includes built-in rear jump seats and a hider for the Bimini top, plus options that include a ski-tow pylon and bow cushions. The 1775, 1875 and 2025 all seat six; the 1675 has seating for five.
