The GO XSE Series offers true ease of use with intuitive touchscreen controls that smartphone and tablet users will find instantly familiar. Tap to create or select waypoints, pinch to zoom, or tap and drag to pan smoothly across charts. Simple home screen and menu layouts make all functions quickly accessible, with large and clearly-captioned icons that are easy to recognize and tap.
Simrad said the GO9 XSE chart plotter navigation display, the latest addition to its GO Series, allows boaters to view charts, add waypoints and see other information on a 9-inch screen.
The company said the GO9 XSE is compatible with Simrad Broadband 3G/4G Radar systems and SiriusXM weather/radio (U.S. only) and features an internal 10 Hz GPS receiver, StructureScan HD and CHIRP Sonar for fishfinding, autopilot integration, engine data monitoring, audio connectivity with SonicHub2, built-in wireless connectivity and the Simrad TripIntelTM trip computer.
“Designed specifically for smaller boats with single-helm stations, day boats, tenders and pontoons, the GO-series brings powerful navigation functionality to a whole new boating segment,” Navico CEO Leif Ottosson said in a statement.
“The new GO9 XSE adds even more capabilities to this affordable product line with radar and ethernet, entertainment and the innovative TripIntel trip computer functionality, all in a stylish package.”
