Navico announced the integration of new advanced Mercury SmartCraft functionality with select Lowrance and Simrad displays.
The integration enables boaters to control Mercury autopilots directly from select Lowrance and Simrad displays and includes new features such as Auto Heading, Route/Waypoint Tracking and Active Trim.
The integration requires installation of the Mercury Joystick Autopilot system.
Navico is the parent of the Lowrance, Simrad and B&G brands.
“Boat integration is a major focus for us and we are excited to add this new functionality to Lowrance and Simrad displays,” Navico CEO Leif Ottosson said in a statement.
“Integrating Mercury autopilot and trim control into our displays gives users immediate access to vital vessel controls without the need for additional displays. Everything you need to control the boat is easily within reach and makes for a safe and enjoyable on-the-water experience for our customers.”
