The fishing is fine, too: Lake Huron, Georgian Bay and Kempenfelt Bay teem with many species, as do many inland lakes. Private campgrounds in a variety of settings offer a wide range of services, whatever your camping style.

- Frozen in Time Ice Sculpture Festival - Dec 27 - Jan 1 - Bring the whole family down to the Winter Wonderland Village in Collingwood for a series of all-ages events to keep Jack Frost at bay. Enjoy arts & crafts, ice block building and ice games, snowshoeing and so much more!
- Winter Family Fun Days! - December 28 - 30 - School is out, so enjoy some winter fun. Participate in different crafts, movies, activity stations and scavenger hunts during your winter break! Held at the Bruce County Museum & CC.
- Bruce 150th Anniversary New Year's Eve Kick Off - Dec 31 - What better way to celebrate the kick off of the County's 150th Anniversary, than with the best New Year’s Eve party in the Bruce! The BCM&CC is opening all levels for live entertainment AND music by DJ, specialty drinks and food, plus champagne in a commemorative glass for you to take home.

Attractions
- The Bruce Trail - Perhaps the best known is Canada’s oldest and longest marked footpath. This spectacular and at times rugged trail runs atop of the magnificent ridge of the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, with some of the most awesome vistas along the section in BruceGreySimcoe. Densely forested trails travel along high bluffs, through deep, wide valleys and mazes of rocky crevasses and caves, with splendid views and spectacular scenery every step of the way. Many side trails travel inland loops through funky land formations and landscapes, including the Devil’s Monument at Dyer’s Bay, and the Corran - the stone shell of a mansion - at Spirit Rock.
- Creemore Springs Brewery - This is where Ontario’s Creemore Springs Premium Lager is made, in their century-old main street location right in the heart of this beautiful town. Take a tour of the brewery, sample a few drinks and enjoy the beautiful town of Creemore.
- The Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre - Located on 3,000 acres of wetlands, fen and forest in Midland, Ontario (in the Heart of Georgian Bay). The Centre includes an amphibian and reptile display hall, hiking, biking and skiing trails, canoeing and kayaking routes, an observation tower and boardwalks, birds of prey display, education classroom, event facilities, gift shop and Naturalists on staff.
