20th Annual Stuart Lake Fishing Derby
Friday, June 30 to Sunday, July 2, 2017 – $18,000 in prizes!
Get in on the action this year. The 20th Stuart Lake Fishing Derby will mark the LAST STUART LAKE FISHING DERBY. People come from the far reaches of our province to participate in the Derby, hosted by the Fort St. James Chamber of Commerce. They are motivated by breathtaking views, great rainbow trout fishing, huge prize money, and the promise of a good time.

Derby hours:
- Friday, June 30, 6 am to 8 pm
- Saturday, July 1, 6 am to 8 pm
- Sunday July 2, 6 am - 12 noon
Weigh Stations and Hours: Cottonwood Beach, Whitefish Bay & Dennis and Wendy’s Cabin in the North Arm
- Friday, June 30, 7 am to 9 pm
- Saturday, July 1, 7 am to 9 pm
- Sunday July 2, 7 am to 12 noon
Prizes:
- 1st Prize: $7,500
- 2nd Prize: $5,000
- 3rd Prize: $2,500
- 2 Participant Draw Prizes of $500
- 4 Draws of $500 in FSJ Bucks
Join us in celebrating the successful fishermen at Cottonwood Beach from 12:00 – 2:30, July 2nd. There will be a windup celebration at Cottonwood Park with beer gardens and entertainment starting at 2:00 on Sunday, July 2nd.
