To celebrate 50 years of production, Adventurer (ALP) introduced its new 50TH Anniversary Limited Edition 901SB Truck Camper with many industry leading features. The 901SB debuts many new and/or exclusive features not seen in a Truck camper before such as Channeled LED Dimmable Track Lighting, Frameless Windows, LCD displayed Touch Screen Master systems control-centre, that includes dimmable interior lighting, water pump switch, power awning, exterior LED lighting, entry step LED channeled entry lighting. There’s also the new Project 2000® power bunk, Padded Triple Stitched Leatherette seating, Diamond plated Garage/Toolbox exterior storage, non-slip powder coated 4-step ComfortStep® Bumper, Moon Roof, Rugged® ball bearing basement storage tray, Undermount Stainless Steel Sink, Rugged® rear ladder, Rugged® Roof Rack storage, Happijac ‘s new vertical motor electric jacks, Power Tower® pop up electrical outlet, and the Exterior Docking service center. Additionally, the 901SB has the MB Designs custom interior featuring the Latitude North Euro Type Cabinetry not to mention this unit will fit both short bed and long bed trucks.
Adventurer wanted to celebrate 50 years of RV production to honour the Epp family and their contribution to the industry and community. To commemorate the occasion, they really wanted to do something special and unique to celebrate their past history, but yet provide a unit looking into the future. The 901SB Limited Edition was the manifestation of over a year of collaboration with the engineering team, sales, dealers, customers, vendors and quite frankly, totally out-of-the-box thinking on everyone’s part.
The Exterior
For the outside of the camper, Adventurer introduced an entirely new colour, Sterling Grey and then added all black trim, accessories and options. They designed a new Garage/Toolbox exterior storage where owners can store most of their items, including a portable generator if desired. They added Frameless windows to increase the high end luxury feel and look. The Rugged® Ladder and Roof Rack, two uniquely designed features compared to other RVs, were also designed in-house.

The Interior
For the interior, Adventure went out of house and hired a non-RV design team, MB Designs. They came up with an entirely new interior that Adventurer had not ever used or even seen before. They incorporated the latest trends from the housing industry - from a lighter interior, channeled LED track lighting, polished concrete style countertops, to undermount residential stainless steel sinks and a custom padded triple stitched designer seating. The whole design was topped off with a custom designed Master Control systems LCD touch screen panel, that controls everything from dimmable lighting, power awning, power bunk, courtesy entry step lighting, water pump, battery status to tank monitoring to within 5% increments.
Sadly, Adventurer received notice of the passing of their Founder Erdman Epp just as these units began to start production. They see this unit as a true celebration and fitting tribute to Erdman and his family’s legacy, which is being continued by his son James Epp.
