For those of you who will be doing clutch replacements before summer wheeling season hits, take a close look at your flywheels while you have everything torn apart. Replacing the flywheel while you have your tranny pulled apart will save you time and money. Summit Racing carries several types of Centerforce flywheels for street, off-road, and racing.

Centerforce Steel Flywheels

Centerforce Steel Flywheels are CAD/CAM-designed and CNC-machined to strict tolerances. The billet steel flywheels closely match the weight of OEM flywheels, so no modifications are required to use one with a Centerforce clutch, or most other clutch assemblies built to OEM specs. The steel flywheels are SFI-certified for racing use.

Centerforce Aluminum Flywheels

Centerforce Aluminum Flywheels can shave some weight from your clutch assembly — ideal for a snappier throttle and faster revs. Manufactured from aircraft-grade 7075 T-6 billet aluminum, the flywheels have mechanically retained starter ring gears and replaceable steel friction surfaces that are heat-treated for abrasion resistance and long life. Centerforce aluminum flywheels are also SFI-certified for racing.

Centerforce Cast Iron Flywheels

If you need to replace the flywheel on your Jeep or Dodge truck, Summit Racing offers Centerforce Cast Iron Flywheels. They are high quality, nodular iron OEM replacements and are not SFI-certified for competition use.
